South East League Meeting
Monday January 18th 2010
Youghal Golf Club
Jim Coleman, Captain of Youghal welcomed all clubs to the meeting
1. Nine teams to be divided by lot into two groups; Group A of 5 teams and Group B of 4 teams
2. Each group to play 4 matches with home team in group A not playing in that round and group B to decide on pairings for 4th round. Later this was decided by draw
3. Decided on proposal of East Cork to play competition nearer the Purcell & Bruen dates so it was agreed to commence first round by weekend of March 6th/7th with the final fixed for April 18th to allow for vagaries of weather.
4. Contact to be made with other clubs, eg. Mahon, Monkstown, to bring numbers up to 10 for 2011
5. The host club provides a minimum of soup and sandwiches on the day and to a maximum of 20 vouchers to each team.
6. East Cork agreed to again provide the Pennant.
7. Draw for groups and each group agreed dates & venues
8. All info to be circulated this week
9. All present expressed their appreciation to Youghal Golf for hosting the meeting
