Overseas Membership
OVERSEAS LIFE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION - COST - £2,000 (Once off payment)
The primary residence of the Overseas Member must be located outside of the Republic of
Ireland.
The Overseas Member can take part in all Cobh club competitions with the exception of the
President and Captain’s prizes.
The Overseas Member can play the course with associates at reduced green fee rates for
the non-members.
There will be an annual International Competition for Overseas Members.
The Overseas Member will be eligible for a Golfing Union of Ireland membership and
handicap card. Such a card will entitle the Overseas Member to participate in Open Events
in all Irish golf courses. The annual cost of such a card is €50 (£41), which is indexed linked.
All Open Events are listed on the Golfing Union of Ireland’s website, www.gui.ie
In the event of the Overseas Member relocating to Ireland, the Life Membership will
cease and the normal annual membership for Cobh Club will apply. The present annual
membership is €790.
The Life Overseas Membership is non-transferable.
