This year saw the introduction of one new player to the panel (Luke Wallace replaced Jamie Moynihan) and the qualifying Strokeplay round for participation in the Matchplay stage was held in Douglas Golf Club in early May. Unfortunately Cobh, defending Munster Champions, did not advance to the Matchplay stage.
The Team was Graham O'Connor/David Meaney and Gavin Lynch/Luke Wallace. Though some good golf was played by both pairings, they were not strong enough on the day to advance.
