Hole 13

A short Par 5 in length but from tee to green there is an uphill elevation change of 30 metres ensuring that the hole plays considerably longer than its length suggests.

The tee shot is protected by two pairs of fairway bunker left and right giving the golfer a number of options. Either attempting a 200 metre carry over the right set, setting up a realistic opportunity to reach the green in two or laying up short of the bunkers but then being left with over 200 metres uphill to the green.
Conservative golfers relying on the short game to try for a birdie will have to negotiate an approach bunker front left of the green and a green side bunker on the right of the green. The best option is to over club because slightly long shots are likely to roll back down the steep surrounds at the rear of the green.
The green set in an amphitheatre, is large and strongly undulating meaning that even if you find the green in regulation and two putt is by no means guaranteed. Additionally the green has a "false face" - a strong fall at the front of the green. With the pin on the lower tier any slightly misjudged pitches could end up rolling off the green back down the fairway.
