Cobh Golf Club

Located on the highest point of the golf course, with spectacular panoramic view, is every golfers dream (and nightmare), a Par 3 with an island green. The length of the hole is a 170 metres from the back tee, but the drop down to the green is over 12 metres, so the hole plays much shorter than its length suggests.

Additionally the green has plenty of gently sloping surrounds. Even if you miss the green itself, there still remain a good chance of remaining dry if your tee shot is not quiet perfect. Nevertheless an island green does funny things to a golfers swing so save yourself €5 and leave your Pro v1 in the bag.
